Ever wanted to try a trade and see what it’s like? Well here is your chance with the Be Constructive Careers Expo at Gold Coast University Hospital, Southport on Thursday 22 – 23 July 2010.
The expo will include a 30 minute bus tour around the $1.55 billion project, followed by a number of “Try a Trades” activities, which will allow attendees to be more hands on and gain an insight into the different trades available. This is a great opportunity for people who are thinking about a career change or for school students considering a trade.
Last years expo attracted more than 1500 school leavers. This year promises to be bigger and better. Interact with like minded people, try a trade and speak with industry contacts that can help you progress into trades, diplomas and master level qualifications as well as associated employment opportunities.
Existing building and construction workers as well as general public are also welcome to attend the Expo.
