Two thousand and ten or twenty ten, whichever you prefer, it’s here! The worst of the global financial crisis has come and gone (or so they say) and better times are ahead for all.
At Pro Plaster we are certainly viewing 2010 as a year of opportunities. As the saying goes, “if you do the same thing tomorrow as you did yesterday you will probably get the same result”, which from my experience is reasonably accurate.
There are lots of new and innovative ideas to look forward to throughout 2010 from the team at Pro Plaster. Now I can’t tell you them all, but I can give you a small taste. For any of you that regularly visit our website or have email, you will know that as of the beginning of February we are providing our customers with the ability to purchase our products online.
Not only will you be able to browse the largest selection of tools and accessories available online, but you will also be able to purchase them – 24/7. If you are one of our customers that is not lucky enough to have a Pro Plaster Products store close by, you now have direct access to our product catalogue from the comfort of your own home or office.
New products are also high on our agenda for 2010. With the reformulation of existing products as well as the release of some new ones, we will strive to keep our customers at the forefront of technology.
Hamilton Materials is the largest manufacturer of compound in the USA and have an extensive range of innovative products for the drywall market. As their exclusive distributor in Australia, we have access to a vast and varied range of innovative products. An example of these is HA-20 and HA-5, which are sandable base coats perfect for small jobs and patching. It is no surprise these products are being replicated by competitors. HA-BL or Blue dot as it is more commonly known is an air dry taping only compound, ideal for hotter climates where tape dries out of base bonds is an ever increasing problem. Finally, Prep Coat is a welcome addition to anyone who is trying to achieve a level 5 finish.
